News: Recently, The world’s first Vedic clock, the ‘Vikramaditya Vedic Clock,’ based on Indian ‘panchang’ calculations, was inaugurated at Jantar Mantar in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.

About:
• The Vikramaditya Vedic clock is the world’s first ‘Vedic Clock’, designed to display time according to the ancient Indian traditional Panchang. This clock was virtually inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi and is mounted on an 85-foot tower within Jantar Mantar in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
• It displays 30 Muhurats, tithi, and all other time calculations of Vedic Hindu panchang. Additionally, it shows Samvat, Mas, moon position, Parva, Shubhshubh Muhurat, Ghati, Nakshatra, solar eclipse, lunar eclipse, among other things.
• The clock also indicates the Indian Standard Time (IST) and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). The city of Ujjain has been considered the center of time calculation, and the Tropic of Cancer passes through it.
