Kisan e-Mitra
News: Kisan e-Mitra is an AI-powered chatbot developed by the Government of India to was recently launched.
About:
• The chatbot is designed to provide farmers with a one-stop solution for their grievances related to the PM-KISAN scheme. It addresses farmers’ queries in their own languages, thereby empowering them through technological interventions. The Kisan e-Mitra is removing the existing technological and language barriers of the farmers.
• The Kisan e-Mitra, AI Chatbot is initially available in 5 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Odiya, Tamil, and Bangla.
• The Government of India has developed the PM-KISAN mobile app with the feature of face authenticationbased e-KYC. This app is the first mobile app which uses face authentication-based e-KYC feature in any benefit scheme of the Government.
