News: A wildfire has consumed more than 4,000 hectares of a national park in Eastern Bolivia. Drone images show plumes of smoke coming out of Otuquis National Park.

About Otuquis NP:
• Otuquis National Park is a national park in the Pantanal ecoregion of southeastern Bolivia, on the borders with Brazil and Paraguay.
• It is named after the Otuke indigenous people who inhabit the region.
• It is also best place in Bolivia to spot anacondas.
• The park is so remote that it is not even listed on Google Maps or most guidebooks. It is also one of the most seldom visited national parks in Bolivia.
