 Location: Haiti occupies the western third of the island of Hispaniola. The eastern two-thirds of the island belong to the neighboring Dominican Republic. The island of Hispaniola is shared by these two countries.
 Haiti is bordered by:

 To the south and west: The Caribbean Sea.
