News: The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) recently organised the 40th Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) Deep-Dive training programme under the Cyber Surakshit Bharat Initiative.

About:
• The Cyber Surakshit Bharat initiative was launched in 2018 by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) of India.
• The initiative was conceptualized with the mission to spread awareness about cyber-crime and build capacities of Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and frontline IT officials, across all government departments.

Benefits:
• Enhanced Cyber Security: The initiative helps to strengthen the cyber security ecosystem in India by providing training and capacity building to government officials.
• Public-Private Partnership: This is a first-of-its-kind partnership between the Government and industry under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model.
