• It can travel at the speed of 12 knots, which is double the speed of ‘Aditya’, another solar-electric boat by the same company.
• This speed allows it to reduce travel time from 90 minutes to 30 minutes.
• The vessel is certified under the Indian Register of Shipping (IRS) and can navigate through waves as high as 4m.
