GPSC 2025 Exam Dates You Should Know

GPSC Prelims exam date of highly awaited GPSC Prelims on April 6, 2025. This is the first barrier for those candidates who want to cross over in the selection process. They will then move on to the GPSC Mains exam, scheduled to be held on September 13, 14th, 20, and 21st September 2025. Key Updates & Changes for GPSC 2025

A major change this year is the deposit candidates pay while applying, which was introduced by this. This is an administrative step to filter only the serious candidates appearing for the exam and hence to efficiently use resources and, in turn, ease the administration. The amount of the deposit is given below:

• Non-reserved category candidates: Rs. 500 deposit
• Reserved category candidates: Rs. 400 deposit

After candidates sit for the test, the deposit will be refunded to prevent absenteeism during the selection process.
