For Class I and Class II recruitment, including Deputy Collector, DySP, Taluka Development Officer, Mamlatdar, Section Officer, etc.
The Gujarat Public Service Commission administers the GPSC Class 1-2 exams.
Any graduate (from any field) is eligible to sit for the GPSC Class 1-2 and Class 3 examinations. Age 20 Completed the day after being notified.
The GPSC Class 1-2 exam consists of three stages: the preliminary exam, the main exam, and the interview (viva-voce).
The GPSC Class 1-2 preliminary exam consists of two papers, General Studies Paper 1 and General Studies Paper 2. This covers all common courses, such as Maha Gujarat Andolan, Women in India, History,Geography, Politics, Math, and Reasoning.
There will be 6 papers carrying a total of 900 points. The papers are English, Gujarati, Essay, and General Studies 1,2,3 and 4 each carrying 150 points.
