News: The Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, also known as the India International Convention and Expo Centre (IICC), is a state-of-the-art convention and expo centre located in Dwarka, New Delhi. It was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17, 2023.

Key Features:
• YashoBhoomi is a state-of-the-art convention center in Delhi’s Dwarka. It is the second convention centre with world-class infrastructure for exhibitions and conferences, after the Bharat Mandapam.
• The convention centre boasts of having one of the world’s largest MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) facilities and the largest LED media facade in the country.
• It is developed at a cost of around Rs. 5400 crore. The total project area is over 8.9 lakh square meters, with a total built-up area of more than 1.8 lakh square meters.
• The convention centre has a seating capacity of over 11,000 delegates.
• It comprises 15 convention rooms, including the main auditorium, a grand ballroom, and 13 meeting rooms.
• The plenary hall in the Convention Center is equipped with a seating capacity of around 6,000 guests.
• The auditorium has one of the most innovative automated seating systems which allows the floor to be a flat floor or an auditorium style tiered seating for different seating configurations. The Grand Ballroom can host around 2,500 guests. It also has an extended open area that can seat up to 500 people.
