Govt Working to Allow Ethanol Blending Beyond E20

• Ethanol Blending Programme (EBP): A strategic initiative aimed at blending bio-ethanol produced from agricultural feedstocks into petrol to reduce fossil fuel import reliance and environmental impact. 

• Flex-Fuel Vehicles (FFVs): Vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines designed to run on flexible fuel mixtures, such as combinations of petrol and ethanol up to E85 or 100% hydrous ethanol.
