 • National Investigation Agency (NIA) Act, 2008: Established a specialized federal investigative agency with extraterritorial jurisdiction to investigate terror offenses affecting national sovereignty. 

• Article 51 of the Indian Constitution (DPSP): Directs the State to promote international peace, maintain security, and foster adherence to international law against transnational violence.
