News: Bengaluru has become the first Indian city to join the World Cities Culture Forum (WCCF), an organization founded in 2012 by the office of the Mayor of London.
About WCCF:
• The World Cities Culture Forum (WCCF) is a network of more than 40 global cities spanning six continents. The WCCF provides a way for policy makers in 38 key cities to share research and intelligence, and explore the vital role of culture in their future prosperity.
• The WCCF conducts comparative research to measure the impact and importance of culture and creativity and shares it with the Forum so partner cities can make evidence-based policy decisions.
