News: Recently, the union Agriculture Minister inaugurated a Krishi Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) set up at Krishi Bhavan in New Delhi.

About:
 The Krishi Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC), inaugurated by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare (MoA&FW) at Krishi Bhavan in New Delhi, is a tech-based solution that integrates multiple IT applications and platforms. 
 Its purpose is to provide actionable insights and facilitate informed decision-making in the agriculture sector.

Key Features:
Dashboard Display
 The ICCC features eight large LED screens that display crucial information in graphical format.
 These screens provide real-time data on various aspects, including crop yields, production, drought situation, and cropping patterns

Data Sources
 The ICCC consolidates geospatial information from multiple sources:
 Soil Survey: Plot-level data received through soil surveys.
 Weather Data: Information from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
 Digital Crop Survey: Sowing data.
 Krishi MApper: Farmer- and farm-related data through geo-fencing and geo-tagging of land.
 Unified Portal for Agricultural Statistics (UPAg): Market intelligence information.
 General Crop Estimation Survey (GCES): Yield estimation data

Objectives
 Comprehensive Monitoring: The ICCC aims to monitor the farm sector comprehensively by integrating data from various sources.
