News: Recently, The Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs in India has taken a significant step towards fostering data-driven policymaking by launching the Amplifi 2.0 portal.
About:
• The Amplifi 2.0 portal, also known as the Assessment and Monitoring Platform for Liveable, Inclusive, and Future-ready urban India (AMPLIFI), is a platform developed by the National Institute of Urban Affairs. It is designed to monitor and assess the liveability, inclusivity, and future-readiness of urban India.
• The AMPLIFI 2.0 portal is a part of a broader initiative by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India. The data shown in the portal is for representation purpose only and should not be misconstrued as actual data for the city.
• The portal includes various frameworks such as the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Data Maturity Assessment Framework (DMAF), Climate Smart Cities Assessment Framework (CSCAF), Ease of Living (EOL), Municipal Performance Index (MPI), and Swachh Survekshan 2020.
