Context: Womenomics refers to a series of economic policies and initiatives designed to boost womens involvement in the workforce and advance gender equality within the economy. This concept gained prominence in Japan during the tenure of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe as part of his comprehensive economic strategy known as Abenomics.
